Renting a Garage
Should you wish to rent a garage you would need to join the waiting list by clicking the button below. If you do not already have a My St Albans account you will be prompted to set one up to follow through with the process.
Please note garages are offered on a first come first served basis.
Charges
All payments are set up as monthly direct debits upon signing tenancy.

Raising a Repair
All garage repairs need to be reported to our contractors, Morgan Sindall.
You can report a repair using the garage contact form below or alternatively, you can email
stalbansrepairs@morgansindall.com or call Morgan Sindall Property Services on 01727 819256.

Terminating Garage Tenancy
We require four weeks’ notice commencing from the Monday after the form is received.
All tenancies end on a Sunday.

Fly Tipping Toggle accordion
Please report any signs of fly tipping whether it be outside a garage/s, within garage forecourt and/or surround via your MyStAlbans Account or email garages@stalbans.gov.uk with any supporting photos and address of location.
Can I rent one or more garage? Toggle accordion
A restricted limit of 4 garages is allowed per licensee, unless further are agreed under exceptional circumstances by SADC.
Can I use my garage for business purposes? Toggle accordion
Garages are not permitted to be used for any form of business use. This restriction applies to all current and future garage tenancies. Any tenant found to be operating a business from their garage will be in breach of their tenancy agreement.
Can I store any other items other than my vehicle? Toggle accordion
In line with the current garage tenancy agreement, storage is not permitted. However, this policy is currently under review.
