Local Businesses Invited to St Albans District Business Summit 2026
Businesses in St Albans District are invited to attend an annual gathering to hear about the opportunities and support available to them.
St Albans City and District Council is hosting its Business Summit 2026 on Monday 9 March.
The event will offer an insight into Hertfordshire’s economic future and plans to encourage growth.
There will also be information on the resources that can be accessed to help local businesses thrive.
Speakers will include Liza Armstrong, head of the Hertfordshire Growth Hub, and William Stokes, the Chief Executive and a founder of Co-Space, the flexible workspace operator.
Councillor Paul de Kort, the Council’s Leader, who will be chairing the event, will discuss the local business environment and the impact of the pending local government reorganisation. He will also answer questions as part of a panel. He said:
This summit is an important opportunity for local businesses to come together, share experiences and understand the support available to help them grow.
It is also a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to support a vibrant, resilient and sustainable economy across the District.
I urge local businesses, whatever sector they come from or whatever size they are, to come along. This is a chance to network and to learn about many different issues.
The event will be held from 5:30pm to 8pm in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre, St Peter’s Street, St Albans.
Attendance is free, but booking is essential and businesses can register here.
