- View the decision notices and planning history of a property since 1976

Monday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Tuesday: 9.00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Thursday: 9.00am to 1:00pm
Friday: 9.00am to 3.00pm
Commenting on an application:
You can submit your comments online under the application details. Please supply your address, including postcode, so that we can log your comments and reconsult you on any material amendments made during the application process. Please note that your comments will be published on our website. We will redact signatures, personal email addresses and telephone numbers only.

Searching, viewing plans and using the measuring tools:
The easiest way to view an application is to use the planning application reference number in the online search tool, see stalbans.gov.uk/planning or use the address of the property. When entering a postcode, please add the space ie AL1 3JE. For some more complicated addresses you will need to use the 'Advanced Search' you can contact Customer Services between 9am and 1pm if you need help with this.
To view the application details after a search, click the blue text of the search result, which is a link to the application details.
Use the 'Documents' tab at the bottom to view plans and other documents.
For comparing plans, you can right-click to open plans in a new tab/window. The measuring tools on the left-hand side can also be used. Remember to set the correct scale indicated on the plans first.
